Having trouble with my yfz wanting to die when just putting around. it only happens when im barely on the throttle. Tries dying then fires back up. It runs fine otherwise when racing or whatever. idles perfectly too. Also for the past year or more it has been acting up..kinda like the throttle is sticking but i dont think it is? You notice it when youre on the throttle then pull in the clutch to coast, the motor doesnt drop rpm. to stop this i give a couple taps of the throttle and it fixes it. Any ideas on what it could be or what to check? appreciate any advice

Slide possibly sticking? Check it for wear marks on it like it's rubbing

sounds like the cable isnt adjusted right,  make sure there is some free play in the thumb lever.  sounds like the cable is tight and controling the idle and not the stop in the carb
